How Good is LSE at Economics?

The answer is very good but there seem to be a few US universities that are better.

Tilburg University has just produced
a new ranking of Economics schools based on publications (ISI indexed journals) in journals in Economics, Econometrics and Finance. Harvard is first with a score of 551 followed by Chicago (385). LSE is eighth alongside Northwestern University with a score of 280. Oxford is 22nd and University College London 29th. Tilburg is 23rd.

If LSE can only get to eighth place in Economics then what can we expect from an ojective ranking in the natural sciences and the arts and humanities?

LSE is 8th best in the world for Economics? How can this be considered anything but cause for celebration?

I do not see the logic of what you are trying to say here. 'Only' 8th place in the world? Out of thousands?
You just do not like LSE.

If Oxbridge do not even get in the top 20 what does that say about their quality in other fields?

LSE should be celebrating for their 8th place considering two of seven top-5-sisters Yale and Princeton don't even make top 10

Richard, is there an unresolved issue between you and LSE? You do yourself a disservice by engaging in childish asides. Your work is much admired in questioning the unremitting tedium of poor rankings, and their use by universities who of all organisations should know better
